SAT/COLLEGE BOARD This website offers SAT preparation tools such as practice questions, a review of the essay component and math concepts. There is also a link to explore test-taking approaches. http://www.collegeboard.com ACT This website contains assessments, information, and registration services. Also available is information on college readiness standards, the latest news concerning ACT, and much more! http://www.act.org BRIDGES Once you are at this site, click on "Testgear." You will need to enter our site ID number (0100383) and password (edward). You will come to a screen that asks for the universal code (14517120). After this is entered, you will need to register by entering your name, password, etc. Once you’ve registered, you can access over 26 practice tests. If you go to the "course library," you can also access SAT full preparation tests that take about 25 minutes. http://www.access.bridges.com PETERSONS To access the SAT/ACT preparation materials online, click on COLLEGE > HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS > PREPARE FOR TESTS. They offer test strategies and tips, words of the day, practice tests and much more! http://www.petersons.com NUMBER 2 Go to the website and on the right hand side, click either SAT or ACT, depending on which test you want to prepare for. This will take you to a page offering a free tutorial, tips to test-taking, words of the day, and more! http://www.number2.com STUDYHALL To access the information on this website, click SAT under the word "Navigation." From there, click on the word "Schedule," which is under #1. This will allow you to pick how many weeks of preparation you plan on doing and develop a plan for your studying based on your answer. This site offers math, verbal, and writing instruction presented through media and other ways. Practice questions, etc. are also available. http://www.studyhall.com TEST PREP REVIEW This website offers free practice exams covering all aspects of math and English. They also offer tips on how to plan your reviewing and where to find resources. Offers practice tests for all sorts of tests as well as tips on taking out loans for college! http://www.testprepreview.com FREE SAT 1 PREP This website offers test preparation tips, a discussion board, books and study aids, information on the structure of the SAT, test day tips, and practice sections for math, reading, and writing.
