Financial Aid

What is Financial Aid?
Financial Aid is money that can help you pay for college!
Financial aid is made up of
-Grants-
-Scholarships-
-Work Study-
-Loans-
Financial aid comes from the federal government, private sources, and colleges & universities.
Everyone is eligible for some kind of financial aid!

All Seniors should plan to apply for financial aid, even if they are undecided about going to college.

Deadlines for financial applications are very important!

To apply for federal financial aid:

Step 1.  Both parent and student must create their own FSA ID.
Step 2.  Begin the FAFSA (*Note: the FAFSA is FREE to file)

Many colleges also require an additional financial aid application called the CSS Profile for private, non-federal funds.
Click the link for details! (Note: *The CSS Profile costs $25 to file)
