PSAT

The PSAT, or Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test, is a standardized test from the College Board that is given to high school students and is used to determine college readiness. The PSAT/NMSQT (National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) is offered for high school juniors who would like to be considered for the National Merit Scholarship.

EL offers the PSAT/NMSQT test for no cost to a select number of juniors who are interested in the Fall of their junior year. Students: pay attention to your emails regarding this opportunity!

SAT

The SAT, or Scholastic Aptitude Test, is a standardized test from the College Board that is given to high school 11th and 12th graders and is used to determine college readiness. 

Students who wish to take the SAT can sign up on their own through the CollegeBoard website. There is a cost associated with the SAT. Please see your school counselor for a fee waiver if you think you might qualify for one or if the cost would be a hardship for your family.
