Dear Edward Little High School Families,
Student safety and building security are of the utmost to us all at Edward Little High School. The following information is being shared with you to provide facts regarding a situation that occurred at the High School today.
A student was searched for suspicion of a prohibited item by an administrator. In conducting the search a BB gun was found in the student's belongings. The item was secured and removed from Edward Little, as was the student. The Police Officer and the Superintendent determined that there were no immediate threats to students or staff.
We will be following Auburn School Department policy as we proceed and working closely with the Auburn Police Department.
